Dogface Army takes their Community into the Metaverse
Get a glimpse of life inside the metaverse when you become a Dogface Army NFT holder.
It’s been a long week. It’s Friday night and you’re heading out with your mates from Dogface. You log into Decentraland and enter the Dogface Garrison Club. You get scanned at the entrance to check your membership is valid with a verified Dogface NFT you have purchased. This is important. We don’t want the alien invaders — the ITC (Intergalactic Tribal Confederation) finding our secret location.
You enter the Garrison and a whole new world opens up to you. Ahead of you, the party is already in full swing. People from around the globe keep this place pumping 24/7.
The main bar opens out onto the crystal clear waters and golden sands of Dogface cove. A secluded private beach on the edge of a jungle surrounded by palm trees, with a near-by beach side pool and bar. People are mingling amongst it all as music fills the cove with positive beats. R & R is what the Dogface Garrison is all about.
You enter the bar and get a drink. Because you own a Dogface NFT, drinks are free for you. You are part of the Dogface DAO. You have membership rights that the general public don’t have. They have to buy their drink with AMMO token — the official Dogface coin. Ammo can be used to buy accessories for you NFT and to purchase all sorts of things both in Decentraland, at the official merch store and it will have more utility as the project develops.
You take your drink over to one of the big screens over by the pool. Here Dogface TV is playing an episode of the Dogface Soldiers plotting a counter attack on the ITC. Yes, there is a TV series about the Dogface struggle to save the world from the alien invasion.
After that you catch up with a few friends you met in the Dogface Discord. You can chat with them virtually or with text.
You notice on another of the many big screens Fleece TV is playing. Major General Fleece, founder of Dogface Army, is on via a live feed of his ‘Daily Brief’ from his youtube channel. You can get all the latest info on anything NFT and crypto related here.
There are other more interactive screens around too — you can upload and show your own videos, photos, blogs, your Dogface soldier NFT — the gallery has all sort of things to arouse your interest. It’s always great to see what everyone is up to.
As you wander out of the bar area, you head over to the games arcade. Here you can become a virtual Dogface Soldier — you choose your favourite weapon, your uniform and your accessories. You are transported into a live battle scene set to take on a mission with your own strategic objectives to help the Dogface cause.
DAO
After playing in the game, you wander back to the bar and go to the level transporter. As a Dogface NFT owner you are part of an exclusive club — one that most people in the bar area don’t have access to. You belong to the Dogface DAO. As an early adopter of Dogface NFTs you had the vision and foresight to get involved in a project that has big ambitions. Now the general public is envious of you as they watch you enter the level transporter.
The level transporter takes you straight to the first floor where all the other Dogface members are hanging out. You enter a room with lots going on. The room opens out onto a balcony that looks down over the beach bar and pool area below. This is an area where you can get away from the general crowds and talk with other Dogface members and get access to the latest info coming from Dogface HQ.
There are a number of perks for members. The DAO is very well looked after and you play an important role within the Dogface project. 20% of all profits are returned to the DAO. With a full sell out of all 15,000 NFTs, this represents 150 ETH to the DAO fund. Further to that 20% of all ongoing profits will continuously be fed into the fund. As a DAO member you can also vote on key decisions that will shape the direction the Dogface project takes in future and where this fund will be spent — which Crypto Punk should we buy to add to our portfolio?
So you are among your friends on the first floor in the Officer’s Mess. Hanging out. Discussing the next big move from the Dogface team. You sit down at the balcony with your friends and soak up the view. Conversations turn to crypto, NFTs, property and financial freedom. We discuss the many positive things we can do to help veterans with our new found Freedom as leaders in the 4th Industrial revolution.
